Are generic drugs just as effective as branded ones?

Medicine comes in different names. Depending on the manufacturing pharmaceutical company that, medicine has their own unique name like Ventolin or any other type of drug used for medical purposes. But what you may not know is that there are also generic types of drugs that have the same medicinal effects and benefits as the branded ones. The only difference here is that you’re paying a whole lot more for branded drugs. Sounds funny, right? Who would have thought that out of all products made by man, even medicine would have to be segregated from branded and non-branded ones. As a matter of fact, generic drugs are actually just as effective as branded medicines, and you would even be able to save quite a whole lot of money by using generic drugs as well. You need to dispel the notion that generic drugs are subpar or are of a lower quality, because they actually aren’t. They are screened and approved by the same government body that’s tasked to ensure that medicines are effective and would be able to achieve its intended purposes. In other words, generic and branded drugs go through the same screening and approval processes to ensure their safety. The only difference is that generic drugs don’t carry the goodwill or brand name that you would normally get from a reputable and well-known pharmaceutical company. And that’s where its only difference lies. Other than that, they are substantially similar as to their benefits, effects, and even down to their side effects as well.
